Hakab

So after some juggling of resources, I was able to make it out to the village of Hakab on the southeastern hillsides of Wadi Sayq.
We practised with one of the rangers’ madames (mother) and began to confirm that the methods were adequate, suitable and engaging for the informants. Hooray!
We have now completed 6 interviews, which have each averaged between 45 minutes and 1.5 hours.
Today, we also bumped in to some archeologists working down at Khawr Kharfut – the estuary of Wadi Sayq. They were trying to find the remaining two, of three caves, which contained inscriptions.
We now have 2 more interviews remaining at Hakab and then we will continue in the neighbouring village of Dahak.
The data is already throwing up some very interesting information. Hopefully it will continue this way. Insha allah
