I was trawling through the Scholar search results when I came across a paper from a journal devoted only to research in Madagascar. I have followed conservation literature on Madagascar since my experiences there in 2008. However, I am surprised I have not come across this little treasure sooner. Madagascar Conservation & Development has been publishing research since 2006. It is an electronic, open-access, peer-reviewed, multi-disciplinary journal devoted to the swift dissemination of current research in and on Madagascar and the Western Indian Ocean islands.
