“British nature – I owe you one”

Its been 6 months since I returned from the baking heat of Oman’s Empty Quarter, and over four years since my first expedition to Madagascar, but it’s now the time for me to give something back to Britain’s biodiversity.

I have landed myself a job with Thomson Ecology where I’m learning a lot about environmental impact mitigation and preserving the great British wildlife that surrounds us.

I suppose it was Britain’s natural history that sparked my love for wildlife all those years ago, so perhaps I owe it my time.

I am sure my passion, and the earth’s necessity, for overseas conservation will tempt me in to ‘terra incognita’ once again, but for the moment, I’m indebted to Britain.

I hope you enjoy the look and feel of the new site!
